In the country of South Africa there is truly a great harvest of souls ready to be harvested .

The Country:
South Africa is a country torn by crime, sexual sin, poverty, and false teaching. South Africa has the highest rate of murder and rape in the world. Over 10 million will die of AIDS this decade leaving millions of orphaned children.

English is a common language so Charles & Stephen Wesco were able to freely preach and talk with the people.

The Ministry:
God opened the door for Charles & Stephen Wesco to go to South Africa bearing the precious seed of the gospel both in 2003 and 2004.

From April 25-May 26, 2003 they worked with the Paul Young family in and around the city of Cape Town, a city of 2.5 million souls. They had abundant opportunity to preach over 85 times and to minister through Gospel Chalk Art, accordion, and harmonica in the churches, schools, squatter shanty towns, and Pollsmoor prison.

Charles & Stephen had another opportunity to minister in South Africa May 16-30, 2004. On this trip they worked with Bethesda Outreach Ministries in Hammanskraal, north of Pretory, South Africa. During their time there, they ministered by preaching, music, and construction work around the orphanage.
